Body Fat Tank Details
When: Monday January 14th
Time: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The gym will only be open during our normal hours of operation.
Cost: $65 for two dunks. The second dunk will take place on Monday March 11th
*You will want to wear a bathing suit unless you plan on going nudie patootie and bring a towel.
WOD
Bench Press
1 RM
followed by
"Helen"
3 Rounds
Run 400 meters
21 Kettlebell Swings (55/35 lbs)
12 Pull Ups
*If it's raining during the class you will have the option of a "Rowing Helen".
Modifications:
L4 - As is, sub 9 minutes
L3 - As is, sub 11 minutes
L2 -35/26 lb KB sub 13 minutes.
L1 - 26/18 lb KB assisted pull ups
L1m - Manageable KB, assisted pull ups

thats a misprint. laura made a mistake. there is NO option of a "rowing helen". you will run in the rain, and you will like it.

I found a 1-RM calculator. However, it seems that to determine the RM one needs to put weight on a bar (say body weight of 165) and count reps. Won't this pre-lifting zap some strength for the RM? Or am I over thinking this?

Chris - Pre-lifting, helps to warm up the muscle group and prepare your body for the 1RM load. ... BE SURE YOU HAVE A SPOTTER..
